Video: Mayer Hawthorne - “Henny & Gingerale”

This was actually the bonus track off of Hawthorne’s sophomore release, How Do You Do (2011). He’s really grown into his sound since the rough-yet-catchy A Strange Arrangement (2009), which then was a departure from his former identity as a DJ.

If you like what you hear (especially if you dig that old Motown sound as much as I do), you should really scratch around for some more of his stuff.
